Paige Brizak

I am currently a student at Rutgers University - New Brunswick studying Communications with a specialization in Public Relations and a minor in Gender and Media Studies.  Living in the melting pot of Central New Jersey and being close to two major cities, New York City and Philadelphia, I am excited about the opportunities the world around me has to offer for my future.

 

Throughout my high school years and early college years, marketing was my main focus. Everything I learned in my business classes came naturally to me, but I soon realized there was something missing; writing. I enjoyed writing and somehow wanted to include that into my career and had heard about Public Relations. I read up on Public Relations and came to the realization that that was the major that allowed me to do both. I decided to change my major and haven’t looked back since.

 

Throughout my experiences at Rutgers, I have developed the skills and assets needed to become a successful Public Relations professional. Upon graduation I hope to work at either a boutique PR agency or a larger agency where I will be allowed to show my strengths and hopefully move up in the company and make a name of myself.
