About
The main purpose of this blog is to shed light on gender inequalities in the workplace, more specifically inequalities that women face in their careers. The focus of these specific careers are in corporate/office settings, sports settings, and in politics.

Being a senior in college and graduating in January of 2017, it is a major concern of mine that I may not be able to have the same opportunities as a man just because I am a woman. Many people fail to realize or even are oblivious to the fact that women are not treated equally in their careers compared to men. They are offered lower wages, are considered to not be capable of certain positions and are even judged on physical attributes like their hair color. The point of this blog is to educate people on these inequalities, not just women but men too. It is important that both males and females are aware about these issues that way we as a team can go and knock down these boundaries and make the workplace equal for all. Through the use of articles and personal experience, I will show these inequalities that women face. I want every person no matter how young or old, to understand that there may be limitations to your success that is out of your control, but that that is not a reason to let it over come you. We all, especially women need to be made aware of these inequalities and come together to make them disappear and the first step to knocking down these barriers is by being educated about the fact that they exist.
