Lydia Ko vs. Jordan Spieth

Lydia Ko is a professional golfer who participated in the 2015 LPGA Tour, her counterpart, Jordan Spieth, is also a professional golfer and led the PGA Tour. During this tour, Ko pocketed only $2.8 million as the leader. Now I say only because when compared to Spieth, who took home $12 million, Ko took home roughly 23 percent less than him. To add more fuel to the flame, Daniel Berger, the 25th-ranked player on the PGA Tour, earned more than Ko's $2.8 million. How can someone who ranked 25th earn more money than someone who lead the tour? These numbers make no sense to me and it just proves even more that this wage gap exists between men and women.
